President
Geoff Tupper called the meeting to order, our 3rd Annual ABCD Wine
Tasting Fund Raiser/Mother’s Day.
MBDDS has Raised $19,300
in three years for ABCD.
Geoff thanked
Sponsors members, spouses, family and friends attending tonight and donating.
Geoff thanked Chuck
Walter for organizing the event tonight –He organized Bellingham Golf and
Country Club, the food, Sound Beverage and the wine, and Bellingham High School
Orchestra.

Geoff
tried to introduce Keith Leonard, representative from WSDA, to talk about PNDC,
June 17&18. Keith was not present. Geoff mentioned that it is a great
opportunity to support our Society and earn CDE.
3)
Christine
Johnson mentioned Skagit County Community Action 10K run, 2 mile run/walk. She
asked for others to participate, or to sponsor her. Info available at www.skagitcap.org
4)

that were elected last month were inducted, they included:

Geoff
introduced Curt Smith to talk about our ABCD Fundraiser. Sponsors and
representatives present were introduced;

Interfaith – represented by Katie Meehan
All were pleased by MBDDS’s efforts and
success. This year we grossed $8,000 from Sponsors, donations and member registrations.

Business
was adjourned and folks continued to sample the wine, food and conversation.
7)
Next
meeting will be September 7th, at Bellingham Golf and Country;
business will be the House of Delegates.
